Adult Vocational Schools

Anthony Said:

How do I pay for college as an adult going to a vocational school?

We Answered:

Many vocational schools offer Federal financial aid, including student loans. Think of the cost of school as an investment. You will get a return in higher earnings and possibly a better life.

Go in to the school and ask if they have a financial aid office. Talk to a counselor. They will try to help.

Go to the CC. That way if you decide later to go for a BS, you will can use the credits you've already earned

Walter Said:

Can younger adults (19, 20) go into vocational school that high school students attend even if they have a GED?

We Answered:

I realize this isn't a direct answer, but honestly, it's most likely going to vary by school. Your best answer is to call up the school you are looking at and simply ask.

Vocational or Adult school?

We Answered:

Vocational schools are good and with some you can find a medical related program. Have you considered a 2 year community college near your hometown? Nursing programs and physical therapy assistant programs are abundant at 2 year community colleges in my area. Look into all of the options in your area and choose the one you feel is best suited for you, your schedule and your needs.

adult community vocational school or community college?

We Answered:

Well, do you just want to be certified or are you interested in eventually going on? I would ask someone in the field such as a union if there is a difference to what you would make.......
You might be better off with the vocational school and then doing an apprenticeship.
