Although you need GCSEs for uni or other higher education, its more your A levels that you need to seriously thing about when choosing the subjects, so it doesn't really matter what subjects you choose at GCSE as long as you enjoy them. If you take a subject you don't enjoy, you will regret it.

If you really enjoy art and design, then take it. From what i have heard from friends who take GCSE art, its fun, but there is a lot of work to do.

GCSE Business & Communication Systems:
this i compulsary at the school i go to (im in year 11) and i think it was quite easy, but i didn't fnd it too interesting. If you enjoy it, then consider it. Don't just take it because your brother can help you.

Drama
You don't like it/not interested in it, don't take it. Its pointless.

GCSE Music:
again, your not too bothered about this choice, so if you dont really enjoy it, don't take it. I loved music all the way through years 7-9, i took it for GCSE and i hate it! its so hard

Geography:
You obviously love this subject so take it. This was one of my choices and i love it. its interesting, theres quite a lot to learn, but its understandable.

History:
you aren't interested, so don't take it.

Health and social care:
again, don';t take it if you aren't interested in it. Its not of the better courses to take because it doesnt get you very far.

GCSE ICT:
So you enjoy this, consider it. It was compulsary for me, i didn't enjoy it so i found it difficult. But the course i did, it as mainly about spreadsheets.

Media studies:
It depends what you want to do at uni as to if it helps or not. I didn't take it, so i can't give an opinion.

Sociology:
again, i never took this, i didn't get it as an option so i have no idea what it is about.


Take the subjects you like and don't find really hard.
maybe: art, business, geography and either ICT or sociology

These would give you a lot of options for what you want to do in your future.

Do you not have your own hopes and dreams that include some kind of secondary education beyond High School? For me it was attending Art College and then either teaching Elementary School Art or becoming a designer for a company. That didn't happen for me, but I still have that dream even now.
