Vocational Education In Usa

Hector Said:

How can i get into a Vocational Nursing coarse in the USA?

We Answered:

In order to come to the USA to be a college student you have to prove you have the financial support and resources to support yourself and pay for your school. No, you would not be eligible for USA federal and state financial aid programs like grants and loans unless you are a us citizen or eligible non citizen.

Okay, I have no idea what all that GCE, AL, IELTS, and everything else you quoted. These things aren't offerend, recognized or known in the USA, except maybe as things similar to what we hear in Harry Potter movies.

So, you would need to take the LPN/LVN admission test (sometimes known as the NET test) and interview to see if you could get into the program. But be aware that LPN programs in the US are not college degree programs but a year long certificate program.

You might consider going to school to be a 2 year RN (earning an associates degree) at a community college or a 4 year RN Bachelors degree program at a university.

Here are a few good resources.. hope it helps.

Sam Said:

Is Junior degree(2 years study in university) accepted for continuing education in the USA?

We Answered:

Mahroo, I'm not a US citizen so know little of their University rules.
However, I do know that every university has a website and contact details provided.
You can usually email them with queries directly from their site.

It will just require you to Google the universities in the area you will be living (or wish to be).
Be sure to check out their FAQs - the information you require may already be there.

As for the Diversity Visa Program - eligibility to apply depends on if you were born in an eligible country.
You will find information on it here:

Also, check out the US State Department's website for Visa's for education purposes:
