for the abusive guy tell a teacher or someone that can deal with it, do not think you have to put up with it the rest of school. For the friends just find people that are interested in the same activities as you then hang out. school clubs are a really good way to meet people with the same interest and having fun.

the best method i know of is to clear out all the negative thoughts and experiences, and build up the positive ones. i use EFT and recommend it to others as well. you can get the free version in the left hand column at emofree dot com , then just apply it yourself to everything holding you back or bothering you to resolve it and move on with your life

Now is a bad time to change jobs. Other wise I would say that a BA in business management should get you in to a entry level PM job. With the job market the way it is the PMI will really help. Look for work if you find it with out the PMI great other wise start working on it while you are looking.

Construction PM may be different. I knew in home building they want the PM's to have a construction background, commercial may be different.

I PM on the IT, and software side, note I do not have the PMI, but I do have 20 years of experience.

Pay is good, I would say go for it.
