In Florida (I live in Florida) you can become a teacher if you have a masters degree. They will give you a grace period to take your certification test. If you do not have a masters than you have to go back to school and get one. I have a bachelors in Elementary Education and my teaching certification which is how I became a teacher. But, if your bachelors is not in education than you need a masters in any subject in order to become a teacher (even though you'll still need to take the certification test). As for vocational education I have no idea what that is. Maybe it's home economics or autoshop...you know, something that teaches you a trade. Hope all this helps.
