Am I going to lose my job?

We Answered:

If they hired you knowing you are only 17, then you should be okay. Good luck and take care of yourself. You sound like you have a lot on your plate, but you can handle it.

What are preparatory studies in relation to an Australian undergraduate uni course?

We Answered:

My sister did a Tertiary Preparation course as she did not have the level to get into university. Instead of going back to school she did the year that provides you with skills to enter university. It takes a year and certainly is more helpful then doing senior again. It really gets you ready and basically guarantees you a position in uni if you pass. It involves self study and is done usually external with on line tutorials. You can join a group which helps. You are eligible for austudy normally but you do have time to get a part time job, maybe in a job related to what you want to do. But you need to stay focused and get the work in. The tutors are very helpful. Ask for an application form and ask to speak to student services who can direct you on the best learning pathway.

is CA nursing degree better than WA nursing degree?

We Answered:

I really doesn't matter where you do the RN program. It is accepted nationwide. The only difference is if you decide to do the LVN program and then do the 30-unit bridge to RN. This option is only accepted in a few states. So far I know CA and WA accepts this and CA offers that option. Since your husband is in the military, it'd be best not to do this as it is likely he may be posted in another state.

The best would be to do the ADN (Associate degree in Nursing) or the BSN (Bachelors Degree in Nursing).
