I can only guess that she is either sticking her nose into your affairs or that your mother has prompted her to ask you to make a change especially as the job mentioned is Vocational Rehabilitation.
I think you need to point out that it is YOU and YOU alone who chooses what job you do, after all it is you who will be doing the work and there is nothing worse than working in a job that you hate.
