I went through the vocational rehab program here in the Communist-Wealth of Virginia. This is what they do or suppose to do.

While they did not help me get my license; thankfully I already had my license/ a car at the time and I was not forced to remain on campus all the time because transportation issues (It was too much like a prison for me), they did help plenty of clients get their license. The state paid for the driver's ed, providing that you passed.

They also would help you get your GED and teach you "life skills"; if needed. I did not need either program but they did have it for clients who needed it. They would also teach you the basics, such as English and Math; if needed.

While they did not help me find a job; like they were suppose to do after I finished up, they did help me realize my strong points. I took electronics, where I later earned dual Bachelor Degrees in Computer/ Electrical Engineering and graduated with highest honors. However, it took me cussing them out before they realized that I would not be forced to take any "classes" that involved a broom and a mop, or toilet bowel cleaners and a bunch of sh*tty toilets. Maybe, that is why they refused to help me find a job; I stepped on a few too many toes at the time. Oh, well. I'm a better person because it.
