I'm not a veteran, but I think McCain's bill is more appropriate. Let's not kid ourselves, McCain and Webb both support our troops, and both want to help them, and both bills do help them, but McCain takes retention into consideration with his bill and that is an issue that needs to be addressed in our military. Parents don't commit Munchausen's by proxy on 12 year olds and older. The victim has to be pre-verbal (babies and toddlers) so that they can't tell medical staff that their parents are hurting them.It does sound like your mother is a hypochondriac though, and that she projects that onto you as well.
Just ignore her, and move out and get back on your own, and live your own life.
