Donna Said:

How much should a business sell for?

We Answered:

I disagree with the previous answer.

I've tried to sell 2 businesses in my lifetime. I've listed them with business brokers. Most businesses will sell for 2 to 3 times annual net income, not 20.

20 times net profits is absurd. That means it would take the investor or buyer 20 years just to recoup the purchase price.Call any local business broker to verify this.

I wish you the best.

Can I do commmunity school and vocational school at the same time?

We Answered:

Yep, u can. With that being said, don't rush it, u will overload yourself and fail or not get what u need from the classes. Enjoy your life, do your college, maybe take a few here and there classes at night for cooking but don't try to do 2 complete lines at once. It's like high school, every teacher thinks their class work is the only thing u have to do (no, thats not true but gah doesn't it feel like it sometimes)

Business Office Administrator where can i work at?

We Answered:

I work in a hospital as the Access Specialist, I register patients and do all the paperwork. I work at the largest Childrens Hospital in the southeast. All hospitals have administrative work.

Looking at this dental assistant program, is this legit? Will I be able to get a job?

We Answered:

Well the good news is that dentist offices often hire people with no background/education in dental assisting and train them on the job (you don't *need* a certificate). So any background/experience/education would be beneficial to you.

Here is a website where you can search to see if this school is accredited by ADA:

(If not, you may want to try a different school, just in case).

Katrina Said:

Is a computer repair business a good career choice for me?

We Answered:

No, absolutely not.

In 1995 I could charge $200 an hour to repair a PC, because a mid-range PC cost around $2500 dollars. Today, when you can buy a mid-range desktop for $300 from Walmart, you just can't justify $200 an hour. No one is going to pay you more to fix the computer than what they spent on it.

Also, back in the mid 90's if you had a degree in computing, you could write your own ticket. Then, everyone decided that computers was where the money was and every man and his dog enrolled in computer courses.

So you pay $50,000 or more for four years of college, then enter a field where there are literally hundreds of applicants for every available job.

Basically, get into the computer repair business only if you feel like working your *** off and making about the same as a McDonald's line cook.
