Whats some things I can do to not be so nervous when I go to school and be around other people?

We Answered:

Just know that almost everybody feel insecure and usually the more insecure they are the more bold they act. Just be friendly and try not to dwell on what others think of you. Get out in public as much as possible. Ask store clerks where something is etc.

Career Options?

We Answered:

Wow, how horrible! If you are looking to stay in the skilled trade area, I am not sure. I do love MY career and since my company has full training, college and prior experience in the field is not an issue. I work from home in the health care field mostly on my computer. The company I work with is really great and offers a 401k plan and benefits for your household. The training is ongoing and you can start earning almost immediately. Many people at my company are making a 6 figure income in 2-4 years so it is a very lucrative field. I would be happy to share info if you are interested. If not, I do hope your situation improves and that you find something that will work well.

Any one a NeoNatal nurse, or works in the NICU?

We Answered:

to be a neonatal nurse you have to be a rn first. you can either become a rn in 2 years or 4 years depending on where you go to school.
then after graduation most hospitals prefer that you have at least 1 year med/surg experience before specializing in a particular area like the nicu

Jeff Said:

i hate this class, what would you do?

We Answered:

Just ask him. Why is it that others are allowed to walk into your class late, and when I did once, you gave me detention? Paste him against the wall with that question, and dont be afraid, and say it where others could hear you, and he will be shaking in his boots.

Nurses, doctors, medical field...??!??

We Answered:

I became a CNA from a community college. I took the classes in high school, but never took the test. In NC, it is actually easier now than it was in 2002. After I got out of high school I worked in fast food, then joined the Army, then waited tables, now I'm a CNA. If I had been smart, I would had chosen a medical MOS in the Army and gotten my training there. They have a lot of options. Now I'm going for my Medical Admin. degree.

It sounds like you are on a good path! Good luck!

A 50 mm f 1.8 Canon lens (under $100) would be fine.
