Where are some colleges/trade schools in Arizona that offer Chinese as a second language?

We Answered:

I recommend you check out the MatchMaker feature on collegeboard.com; it's pretty good for telling what schools offer what languages in selected states.

For healthcare, do employers like Virginia College graduates?

We Answered:

Your best bet is Tidewater Community College, or Norfolk State University. Hampton U. is also good. These graduates are tops in their field. You can get nursing degrees in technical schools and will probably get a job. However, here is the downside--- if you want to go further, to a higher degree in your field, the credits you earned in a technical school WILL NOT be accepted at any college. You would have to start all over. Also, a technical school graduate would probably earn less money than a community college or university graduate. Dona G.

I would like a list of trade schools that does not require you to have a GED.?

We Answered:

Based on your having mentioned Everest College and asking about others, I assume that you understand why it and other for-profit colleges should be avoided. I'd suggest that you contact a technical or community college in your area. Many of them offer such programs that don't require a GED.

This is a link to an online program available through three technical colleges in Wisconsin: http://www.witechcolleges.org/Explore_Ca…

Because you are likely to be out-of-state, you might have to pay out-of-state tuition, but it would still probably be cheaper and better than someplace like Everest. If you are from certain Midwestern states, you might be able to get a significant discount on tuition through the Midwest Student Exchange Program:

Good luck.
