If you want to pursue a degree in an art related type field, you need to have motivation because it's not a field where there are an excess amount of jobs. If you really want it, I mean really want it, then do it. You'll find a way to get into college and you'll find a way to succeed. There will be obstacles that will try to set you back, but you must persevere in order to achieve your goal.

I graduated from college 3 years ago. I partied the whole time and just got by. If I had to do it all over again, I would have taken more classes at a community college to save money. One thing you'll learn in life is that as time goes on and you get older, you have less and less time to do things. You will look at the past and realize how easy it was. College could have been so easy for me if I just put a little time into it instead of wasting it away. I was undisciplined and did not know how to apply self denial and reject my desires to achieve a higher worthwhile goal.

Whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability. Make educated, reasonable, prompt decisions and don't procrastinate. You'll be better than the rest if you do that.
