Not at all. Technical schools are very different because your training is just in the area of interest that you have. So if you were interested in a business degree for example you would only be taking classes in business and learn every aspect of that program that you possibly could. Technical schools are great because they arent as long as regular 4 year schools but your learning and knowledge that you gain is just as much. Take a look at some of the different programs technical/vocational schools offer and see if any of them sound appealing. Lots of schools will answer your questions about a particular program or school in general. Good luck to you!

Are you looking for donated or purchased tools for a trade school or for a trade school for training on the tools? Do you want hand tools or computer controlled shaping? Are you talking about making prostheses for people as tacked on the end of the detail? Wood and metal normally take much different tools and most prostheses today are molded of plastic.
