No, I've never heard of it. I would be a little weary of online programs. You are not going to get the hands-on experience that you need as a tech. And believe me, there are enough uneducated, inexperienced girls who only last for a month in this field. It is not playing with puppies and kittens all day. You need to go to an Acredited program by the AVMA. It only takes about 18 months/2 years and it means better jobs, better pay, and will weed out the people who are not serious about this job. JMO!

I don't mean to sound rude, but it is mentally a hard job to handle, and there is alot more to it than you probably think. You do all the Xrays, bloodwork, surgery assistance/prep, labwork, cleaning, paperwork, pharmacy prescriptions, client education, etc.


Edited to add that the first person is right...this is NOT a high paying job, and alot of Vets can't afford to give you alot of benefits. The people who are in the field do it because they are helping animals. There are alot of vets that may hire you without a degree, but its a stressful job, and they don't like to constantly be teaching you things.

Sounds like you've got some busy months ahead of you, and online education seems to be the best option for you. Luckily, there are many great online options, as more and more institutions are realizing the demand for distance learning programs.

I would use http://www.ecollegefinder.org, as it provides a plethora of online colleges that are accredited and offer many different accounting degree programs, depending on your specific needs and goals. This site has a great search tool that is simple to use and offers very accurate results.

hey im attending sunshine state right now im enrolled in the business course the work is easy as long as u pay attention the teachers are very helpful they do have job placement in my case my suspended licence (250dollar ticket) held me back from driving to work so they helped me get my license back so they do go beyond the adcademic requirments to help u succeed. the courses are fairly short (mine is 6 months) any more questions id be glad to help

If you took courses at unaccredited "Pittsburgh Technical Institute", you're not going to make it at Carnegie-Melon or in any other accredited school of Engineering. Don't embarrass yourself. You really should be thinking in terms of Engineering Technology, and even that is difficult.

U of Central Florida has a decent degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

U of North Texas has a decent degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Grantham University has a fairly decent online degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, though it is not TAC/ABET-accredted.
Excelsior College has a good online TAC/ABET-accredited degree in EET.
