It all depends what you want to do--with robotics, I'll assume mechanical engineering, although electrical, computer, and industrial and bioengineering and I'm sure other fields as well.

For engineering overall though (as opposed to just mechanical, or just computer, etc.), some of the more prestigious engineering schools on the north east coast are:
-MIT - MA
-Cornell - NY
-Carnegie Mellon - PA
