I've had a cashier job before and the interview was about 5-10 min. they didn't ask me any math questions and i didn't have any past experience but they hire me because I dressed appropriately for the interview and was confident and calm those two are the first things that an employer will look at before the interview even starts but once you get pass that just say that your a fast learner, work well with people and are a very friendly person
always take two copies of your resume at any interview even if they already have one, and there are barely any math skill required but it would hurt and about the time just tell them before hand but it might lower your chance of getting the job if they really need some one there but with all this you'll have a better chance of getting the job

also remember you look less nervous then you think so just try to breath steady.
