It is perfectly OK to receive unemployment while attending school if you are still "available and able" for full time work. I would suggest picking night classes with start time after 6:00pm, the later the better. Of course when you do register for class and notice EDD, they will follow up. During this interview, make sure they understand that you will be willing to give up school for work.
