Career Training Program

Beverly Said:

What do you think is a better career choice?

We Answered:

From my experience going to school for a MA is a lot longer than schooling for a CNA which is a couple of months. I am a LPN and the course was only a year and the begining taught us CNA skills, I then got my CNA license and worked as a CNA while in school for a LPN. It was great because I got to work in the field and learn a ton of stuff. My friend was going to school at the exact same time for MA and her schooling was a lot longer than mine. Good Luck on whatever you decide.

How many hours will you need to dedicate to the training of pilot career?

We Answered:

Hours to dedicate per week, month, day??

You will need 250 hours total to become a commercial pilot. Then you will need to add a multi engine rating.. As others have said, about 300 hours total. This will get you the training you need but likely not the experience.

From there you will need to find a job that fits a low time pilot and build some real world flying time with an employer.. Some have gotten jobs at the regionals with as few as 300 hours but most are in the 800 to 1000 range.

The more hours you have and more varied your flight experience is, the more competitive you are in getting hired either with an airline or as a corporate pilot

Need A Career! Anyone know of a fast training program where the career is not easily replaced and...?

We Answered:

Well the first answer sounds like a scam and the guy or gal that wrote it should be dragged into the steets, tied to a car and drug through the city. Maybe cut off their fingers, so they can't type anymore.

Have you considered CNA or Phlebotomy, the programs are ususally 6-12 weeks and jobs usually pay $15+. Also, if you can go to school for a two year period you might consider, dental hygenist or massage therapy. Both pay really decent and you could also just look through programs at your local community college. Good luck.
