Dental Vocational Training

Jacob Said:

A question about becoming a dental hygienist in the NAVY?

We Answered:

The Navy has plenty of dental hygienists. What they need are dentists.
If you went to dental hygiene school and then joined the Navy, you'd still have to go through Basic Training. But you would skip the Navy Dental Hygiene School and go to your first duty assignment.

But if you were to become a dentist, the Navy would pay for your school and pay you while you went to school. You'd just have to promise them 8 to 10 years of service.
