What are some good electrician trade schools around the Los Angeles region? We Answered:
You need to serve a four-year apprenticeship to be a licensed (journeyman) Electrician. This means you need to attract a sponsoring employer.
"Trade Schools" and Community Colleges can offer a 6~12 month "pre-apprenticeship" course to get you prepared for finding a sponsor.
It's best if you already know someone in the trade or union who can steer you to an apprenticeship.
