If I were going for a dolphin training career, would a regular Psychology degree be enough? We Answered:

There are loads of people who see a cute animal and say "oh I want to be a gorilla/dolphin/wolf/etc trainer/rescuer/etc
Call Sea World human resources and ask them how many people apply for each open dolphin trainer position. My guess would be hundreds.
If the "dolphins are so cute" phase disappears, you will still have a diploma in a major that interests you.

If you don't have the experience or knowledge yet, try volunteering at a shelter. Career Suggestions in Design? We Answered:
Find a university or art achool that offers a BFA in design, preferably with focus areas in as many disciplines as possible (graphic design, interior design, industrial design, information design, etc). Look at the work other students at the school have done to see if it interests you. Apply to 6-10 schools, ranging from schools you think you have a good chance of getting into, to "dream" schools. Visit the schools that accept you and make your decision. The foundations courses you will take in your first year or two will expose you to a wide range of art and design areas, allowing you to see what area suits you best.
