Vocational Nursing Schools

Edward Said:

AA in Vocational Nursing?

We Answered:

after you are a LVN there are "bridge" programs that will allow you to then become an RN. you can start working as an LVN and then obtain the additional training and education required to sit for the NCLEX-RN test. many employers will help with this expense if you agree to stay on with them after you become an RN. this varies by employer and not all employers offer such programs but many do and it may be a way to help you achieve your ultimate goal at little or no expense to you.

the training that you receive for LVN will NOT allow for you to sit for the NCLEX-RN test, you will require additional training and education be it through a bridge program done at your own pace or through another school done at their pace.
