Vocational Skills Training

Dale Said:

What would a good career be for me to pursue with these skills?

We Answered:

A medical vocation is always worth considering, from nurses and surgeons right down to hospital cleaning crews. The site in the box below has some great instruction on signing up to this splendid industry. My brother got some great guidance from there prior to securing a vocation as a medical admin assistant.

Nicholas Said:

Which one is the best for a 16 year old Army Foundation College or The ATR?

We Answered:

I assume this is for your son? I think you've answered your own question there, the AFC at harrogate is the best possible start to Army. However competition is tight and there is only two intakes per year, the main one being September and the other in January. Most of the technical & trade jobs go first.

This does not mean to say that your son will not receive first class training at Winchester, is just that it has all the frills taken out of it such as the NVQ work etc. In both cases they will still go on to the same phase two establishment. If it was my son I'd try to get him into harrogate.
