Mathew Said:

I am 21 years old, 17 weeks pregnant and facing homelessness while dealing with a cheating boyfriend. HELP!!!!?

We Answered:

Emotional cheating is not acceptable. You are far more valuable than that.

Your baby definitely needs a father in his life. That does a lot of damage to a child not to have that stability.

But, sadly, you are not in a committed loving marriage. You deserve that peace of mind and that commitment from a man that he will protect and love you. You also need to give back that same kind of commitment...

You need to get sound advice from godly counselors who will help the both of you marry, and start a commitment to one another and to your child.

Don't move with him until you are married. Don't go to a homeless shelter.

Do look for homes for women. If you go to a Crisis Pregnancy Center, most of them will have access to loving families/centers that will help shelter you and get you started in life if the father of your child refuses to marry you and give you his life.

Don't attack the father of your baby, don't threaten him, wait until you are calm, hopefully with a good counselor who can give both of you sound advice. Your job in this is to act reasonable, loving, and mature, especially now that you are a new mom. Remember, if you can't show him love and especially RESPECT, what incentive does he have to give you his heart, and his life?
