Vocational Training In Japan

Frances Said:

I want a job that i can live in Japan! What should i take?

We Answered:

Your best bet is teaching English, It's in very high demand for americans and brits to teach english over there. You do not have to be fluent in the language becuase the style in which they teach is very different from the states. But learning Japanese in high school would be very good for you.

other jobs that could work be IT work, Business, and Social Work. But remeber the competetion for this is very hard for foreigners!

Nursing is a possbilty but it will be difficult cause you have no actual japanese contacts in the medical field there.

Suggestion: Learn Japanese in high school and how to read/write in japanese (this will be the hardest part). Go to college and get a degree in English, General Education, IT, or Business. While in college though look for an exchange program that the college offers to japanese and americans. and either join it or voluneteer int he program. the best idea to do is to get some Japanese friends. More Japanese friends, better chance to use the language and get some contacts.
